Duty-oriented leisure was the idea of ​​the fitness movement, which since the eighties of the 20. Century has covered almost the entire western world. The life of many people was and is increasingly characterized by a lack of exercise and sedentary activities, so the idea, to use his free time for sporting activities, could of course experience wide distribution. Mode- and body culture did and do the rest, to make fitness attractive for many people - more and more people visit gyms, in which they add a good amount of movement to their everyday life, which of course is an important contribution to well-being throughout life.

However, “fitness” also has its downsides. The Idea, incorporate more exercise into your life, is in itself a very good one; however, it is certainly not a pleasant development for the stressed-out modern man, if he two- or three times a week one more duty to integrate into his diary. Many people complain about a chronic lack of time - and this can certainly not be compensated for by more exercise.
