As a pronounced winter vegetable, kale is usually available from October to February.

Its leaves are more or less curled and medium depending on the variety- colored to bluish green. There are also blue-red varieties. In terms of its mineral content, especially calcium, Magnesium, Eisen, phosphorus and potassium, next to spinach, kale is at the top of the vegetable range. Its richness in vitamins and chlorophyll is also important, so that the kale, also from a nutritional point of view, should not be missing in the garden.
