Most vegetables require neutral soils to thrive.

Almost all cabbage vegetables want the neutral area, also carrots, Lamb's lettuce, Beets, salsify, Saddlery, asparagus and onions. All other types of vegetables also do well in neutral soil. However, they tolerate slightly acidic soils just as well. This group includes beans, Peas, Kale, Cucumber, Lettuce, pumpkin, radish, Radishes, rhubarb, Brussels sprouts, spinach and tomatoes.
