Celery is characterized by a very high humus requirement and absolutely needs fresh organic fertilization.
No manure available, then you have to at least 5 to 6 Work in kg compost/m². The demands of the celery on the mineral fertilizer and the soil reaction correspond to those of the celeriac. Two to three top dressings are also given. The first about 4 to 5 weeks after planting, the second in early to mid-July and the third before bleaching.
