The beds in the vegetable garden should all have a uniform width, because then ordering the land is easier.
A normal bed in the vegetable garden is 1.50 m wide. Of this, 30cm are on the way, so that as usable space 1,20 m remain. The width is calculated like this, that you can easily reach the middle of the bed when sowing, Planting and tending can achieve. Wider beds make this work more difficult, and narrower beds mean wasting land, because then the ratio of distance to usable area becomes less favourable.
