Celeriac utilizes organic fertilizer quite well and is incorporated into the 1. costume provided.
The stable manure must be well rotted and deposited and is given in the autumn. Only fresh manure is available, it is better to plant after a previous crop that has been fertilized with stable manure. Compost, on the other hand, is only applied in the spring and incorporated into the soil preparation. The Kali- and phosphorus fertilization is best done just before planting, likewise the nitrogen start fertilization. Corresponding to the high nitrogen requirement, gets the celeriac still 2 to 3 top dressings, either early July and mid-August or late June, late July and late August. Celeriac wants a neutral soil reaction, but does not tolerate fresh lime fertilization. The lime must therefore already be added to the previous crop.
