Liming the soil is best done every two years.
Whoever wants to keep his vegetable land in the correct state of limestone, gives in every second year per m² 150 g Kalk. It is dug in during autumn processing, but as, that it does not reach the bottom of the furrow, but distributed throughout the dug layer. The lime can also be given in the spring. In this case, it is spread out before cultivating and worked into the top layer of soil. Please note, that lime must not come into contact with stable manure, because it expels the nitrogen present in manure. Lime is therefore only spread over the years, where no manure is given.
