Preferably, First you make a cutting plan for the plywood panels, making up the walls, gables and roof areas of the house and barn are made. The drawing on the right contains all the required dimensions. First cut the individual parts as rectangular panels on the table saw and mark the gable slopes afterwards. Use a jigsaw to saw out all the cut-outs for the doors and windows, as well as the bevels.
Now use white glue and small pins to join the four walls and the ridge beam to form the shell of the house. You have to pay attention, that the whole thing remains in the angle! Is the glue hardened?, work over the surfaces and the butt joints with abrasive cork and sandpaper.
If you want to paint your farm like our model, it is recommended, the frame bars, which should remain white, adjust and glue first, after the walls have been painted in the typical Swedish red: Clean lines are guaranteed!
The roof mount: aluminum tube ends, ∅12 mm, are connected to the wooden panels with epoxy glue. The axis for it: a thin dowel stick. Two screw eyelets, turned into the ridge beam from above, hold the two halves of the roof. You can open them up or remove them entirely.
