Surface-mounted systems are impressive. They no longer just have to be banished to the basement, but they can also be used in living areas.
Surface-mounted electrical installations used to be common. Today, switches and sockets are mostly flush-mounted. But in certain cases, for example, with exposed masonry or when the power lines have to be laid on wood, only the surface installation remains.
There are shapely and even colored device housings. The technical combination options are in no way inferior to the concealed series. surface-mounted housing, whether as a single piece or as a triple combination, bring all the necessary technical solutions to the wall. In addition to classic devices, there are also sockets for modern communication technology.
Breakouts don't have to be: Sliders cover this weak point in the power supply.

Socket with its own switch ■ When a socket is to be switched, this variant is recommended. This combination is installed in a flush-mounted box – the compact housing with the switch remains on the wall: Other consumers can also be switched with it, which are not supplied via the socket.

individual sockets
The surface-mounted systems include the classic single socket outlet with earthing contact as well as the socket outlet for modern communication technology. Sockets are also available in a fixed combination with a switch. The housings are suitable, if you don't want to resort to multiple combinations, also for single mounting next to each other. For all switches and sockets, to be installed on wooden walls, there are flame-retardant mounting plates, which are screwed onto the back of the devices.

multiple sockets
If several sockets are missing, can through the surface mounting of double- or triple sockets can be easily remedied. Existing single sockets can also be replaced by multiple sockets. Multiple surface-mounted boxes are usually mounted vertically. However, they can also be mounted horizontally. However, the two contact holes then lie on top of each other, and angled plugs stick out to the side. Safe installation is important for all sockets.

surface-mounted cables
If lines, Cable ducts or cable ducts are to be inserted into a housing, it has to be in a predetermined position – preferably with side cutters – to be nibbled. The roughly broken edge is usually irregular and thus spoils the visual impression of the entire installation system. To cover him up, there are flexible lines- and canal insertions, which are pushed onto the break-out point and conceal it. This small accessory finally makes the surface-mounted range socially acceptable.

Colorful cases – The classic colors for surface-mounted systems are white, polar white or cream. However, some manufacturers also have colored housings in their range. There is e.g. B. Series including line- and duct entry in the colors ruby red, light grey, anthracite, mocha, schwarz, bordeaux red or agate grey. The wide range of colors makes it possible, the color of the surface-mounted devices to match the furnishings or the wallpaper.

on- and mix concealed installation – Sometimes in the living area both open- as well as flush-mounted devices, with. B. if additional switches and sockets are needed later and the walls are not to be pried open. Then there is the possibility, to use both systems in the same design. In this way, despite the undesired mixture, an optically almost uniform image is achieved.
