Solid glued wood is the material for frames, fillings and bases. You cut them with the table saw (Protective hood was only removed for the photo!). Sufficient glue is only put into the dowel holes when gluing the cabinet sides. The fillings are fixed in the grooves with a drop of glue each.
With three long spax screws, but without glue you connect the cabinet sides to the floor. Two dowels on each side provide guidance when screwing.
