How to optimally use the space under the slope. Closets and shelves for the attic, you can't buy them ready made anywhere. A prime discipline for do-it-yourselfers. With the furniture construction system "MachArt" the extension becomes a pleasure.
Only when the areas under the roof are properly insulated, the slopes are covered with plasterboard or profiled wood and the entire attic has received its final floor, you can start furnishing. Just: You can buy ready made furniture, which adapt to the pitch of the roof, probably nowhere. We were aware of that, when we thought about it, how the newly created living space is to be set up. Design and build all furniture yourself? too work- and too time consuming! Let the carpenter build everything? Too expensive! A third solution seemed the best to us: Furnishing with the Parador MachArt living system. With this furniture construction system, made from different types of wood, you have a free hand when designing and planning. The specialist consultants from the Parador ideas studios help to put together the elements such as shelf supports, doors, Schubfächer. And about six weeks later you get everything delivered perfectly and completely: fixed and ready for assembly!
assembling the furniture: Everything fits perfectly
Whatever you want for your furniture under the slope, open shelves, many drawers, closed cabinets, glazed doors, the Parador MachArt system offers all possibilities. Structured on a height grid of 16 cm and depths of 25, 33,3, 50 and 60 cm and widths of 33,3, 49,5 and 99,5 cm, almost any desired installation solution is possible. In the Parador Ideas Studio there are planning sheets with the appropriate grid layout. And the consultants help, so that your installation ideas also become real built-in furniture.
Perfectly painted and ready for assembly: a cabinet body with two sides, back panel, top and bottom, two doors.
According to a grid tape measure, on which all assembly points are marked, the connecting fittings are fastened in rows of holes.
A few holding plates, attached to the rear of the body with screws, serve as a stop for the precisely fitting rear panel.
Also for the plinth panel, which sits beneath the sub-floor, there are special fittings. The bezel is attached to it with two clips.
Ready for assembly: drawers
The drawers consist of side walls, rear panel, floor and a panel. The positions for the connectors are already pre-drilled.
All bezels, also provided with all holes, are attached to the side panels. Screw on the knobs from behind. The full extension ball bearings are screwed into the rows of holes in the side parts of the body, when the body is assembled. Two plastic blocks, screwed to the cover plate, fit exactly into the slits of the side parts. Measure accurately! The door fittings are screwed into the holes on the inside of the door, the counterparts in the existing rows of holes.
assembly aid
A piece of carpet, placed under the furniture parts when assembling, protects the wooden floor and prevents scratches on the varnish of the furniture surface.
