In this case, we must urgently advise against using MDF boards. The so-called truck, Film- or screen printing plate, some kind of plywood, highly resilient and waterproof. Wood-based materials and steel can be assembled with assembly adhesive, preferably based on PU, connect permanently. So that the glue sticks well, the preparation of the contact surfaces is particularly important: Wood needs a primer, Metal must be absolutely free of grease. Universal thinners or acetone are the agents of choice. The adhesive is applied generously on one side and the counterpart is pressed into the adhesive bed. You should only load the bond after about 24 hours.
