Cosiness and step comfort are the top priorities for the new “Casa” floor covering from Tretford. The mixing ratio of natural materials such as new wool and goat hair make the appearance a sensual experience.
The ribs are unmistakably characteristic of Tretford floor coverings, made mostly of goat hair. But even with the new "Casa" product line, the manufacturer has remained true to its style with a clear "commitment to ribs".. However, this carpet is much softer than its predecessor. This results from the mixing ratio of the materials from 70 percent virgin wool and 20 percent goat hair. The weaving process is also decisive for walking comfort. From the raw components to the finished carpet, the following work steps must be set in motion: First, the natural and renewable raw materials are carefully washed, then gently dyed and spun and then woven using the "Wilton" process, where each closed loop is followed by a cut loop. This special weaving technique gives "Casa" a greater visual depth effect. The floor is durable, environmentally friendly and easy to care for. It has a high impact sound insulation and is also suitable for underfloor heating. The broadloom with latex backing can either be braced or glued over the entire surface. Tretford has a special latex adhesive for this.
The color palette also leaves nothing to be desired. You can have everything from expressive spice colors such as saffron yellow and chili red to soft shades of green to cool blue and various natural colors and black. The 2 m wide carpet costs approx 69 Euro.
