Niche paneling with lightingWhat use is the most beautiful kitchen conversion, when the wall behind it is more reminiscent of a crater landscape than a smooth tiled shield. The solution: A niche cladding made of frosted glass panes (Ikea) hides unsightly tiles and offers space for small, effective lighting. In our case, this is a light tube, available by the meter along with accessories in well-stocked hardware stores (4Euro/m). However, this play of light does not replace the necessary illumination of the worktop, you with clamp- spots or recessed spotlights.
