When vegetable beds are watered, then it has to be a real casting and not just an overspray. Provided that only the surface of the earth is moistened, the plants have very little of it. Most of the water then evaporates, without having fulfilled its purpose. Then it's properly poured, if per m² 15 to 20 liters of water are given. It takes far too long with fine-spray watering cans. With coarse-perforated showers, you only need half the time.
