Like a lawnmower, the actual generator is powered by a petrol engine – therefore the drive of the power generator also needs about the same care. Regular checking of the oil level is particularly important. If the engine is not sufficiently lubricated, he destroys himself, the damage cannot be repaired with on-board equipment. For this reason, some generators also have an oil shortage indicator – just like the dashboard of a car. A clean spark plug allows the engine to start easily and ensures a quiet one, smooth run. If in doubt, it can be quickly replaced with the spark plug key. So if you really want to go on a long journey, think of a spare candle, of oil to refill and last but not least of the filled (!) Reserve fuel canister – because otherwise nothing will work after a short time.
