When wood garden furniture looks shabby after many years of service, but are still stable, there is only one: Sanding and giving them a fresh surface.
Our example: Armchair made of untreated pine wood, once oiled, once colored glazed and once opaque painted.
All nature with protective oil
First, dirt and algae are sanded off.
A delta sander is ideal for this, because you can get into the corners well with it.
But it is also possible by hand with sandpaper and cork. Important here: Always work in maser direction!

Subtle color with weather protection glaze
Sanding and cleaning are also the first steps with this chair. Seize the opportunity, to re-glue any shaky connections.

Fine surface with opaque acrylic
Furniture is easier to work with, when they are taken apart. This is especially true for the, which are painted to cover, because hidden areas can be reached in this way.
Here, too, the cure begins with loops, Cleaning and application of wood preservative.
