Our small grill caddy offers you the luxury, not only to have all the grilling utensils in order and ready to hand, but also to be able to transport them all at once. And yet it is so compact, that you can easily stow it away in the basement or garage when the barbecue season is off, without being offended.

The body is made of waterproof glued multiplex panels made of birch. The practical thing is, that you can have almost all components cut to size in the hardware store, You only have to cut the two sloping side parts yourself from a rectangular plate. Only waterproof wood glue and spax screws are used as fasteners. You should definitely sink the latter into the wood, so that you can seal the screw holes for surface treatment with putty.
Because even though all components are waterproof and barbecuing only takes place in good weather, A protective coat of anti-blue stain and a glaze or varnish cannot do any harm.
You need weather-resistant materials for the grill caddy, namely waterproof wood glue and plywood. You can buy this sheet material at a hardware store and cut it to size.
1 Draw the positions of the shelves as well as the drilling points for the screws and wheel axle holes on the back wall and side panels. After drilling, grind the surfaces.
2 The back wall is glued and screwed to the lower floor. The piece of leftover slab that is created serves as a template for the right angle and for the distance to the next floor.
3 Glue a tilting strip to the front edges of the top three shelves. Break and sand all visible edges.
4 Screw the shelves to the rear wall from bottom to top using the appropriate spacer plates.
5 Place the side panels flush and screw them to the back wall and base.
6 To attach the wheel, the two dowels must fit tightly into the axle tube. You can determine the inner diameter by inserting various drill bit sizes.
7 The bars have half-deep blind holes at one end to accommodate the handle bar.
8 To mount the bars, place the body vertically and place it temporarily under it.
