How do I recognize a good wellness hotel?
A wellness hotel is always good, if they feel comfortable there and are in good hands. Therefore - beyond certain minimum services - there is of course not a good or bad hotel of this kind, but only such, that meet their personal requirements more or less well. So pay attention, that you choose "your" wellness hotel carefully and consider some of the following simple criteria.

A good wellness hotel should have a reasonably well-developed program, from which you can select the services, that are interesting to them. Just a sauna and a nice bath are by no means enough, to enjoy a real wellness holiday - there should already be a whole range of services, that are offered.

For your personal decision applies: Of course, the services must also meet their expectations - it's no use, if you visit a hotel with an extensive program, in which only a few services are included, that really interest you. On this page you will find a small dictionary of possible wellness services, which they find in a hotel - the best idea it's probably for their personal decision, if they browse and look a little in these services, which is fundamentally relevant. Maybe they want to use the register for that, too, to get a better idea of the performance, stated in the brochure or on the hotel's website, because you don't necessarily know with every service, what to expect in practice. The wellness market has already become a little confusing.

A good point of reference for the selection of a wellness hotel is the organization of the house in a suitable association. Many high-quality wellness hotels have now organized themselves, to stand out from the multitude of offers; in such houses, who are really committed to wellness, they can usually be reasonably sure, that the services correspond to those of a real wellness oasis.

Hotels, who have not joined an appropriate association, do not necessarily have to offer worse services than they do, who want to ensure a certain standard of quality through such an association, but unfortunately one can often not be sure with such individually organized houses.

Connection to an appropriate association (of which there are now several in Germany - you can easily find information about them on the Internet) shows a customer orientation, which one can normally interpret positively as a visitor.
