Pantone – the color people have just announced, Radiant Orchid, for the color of the year 2014. this means, winner 2013 of the emerald green is about, complete his year's reign. Since I'm overdue for a constitutional pictorial; it's holiday season with gold and green and red everywhere … and there are a few weeks left for Emerald, to say goodbye, I thought, I use Prestige Outrageous Emerald Eyeliner for this look. It has an incredible color payoff, applies beautifully and it doesn't budge, when it dries – Bonus!

HOW
1. After priming the eyes, apply Half Baked Eyeshadow all over eyelid with Sigma E55 Shading Brush
2. Apply Tease Eye Shadow starting from the outer corner, move in towards the crease with E55 Shading Brush. Blend this color in the E25 Blending Brush into the browbone and also into the Half Baked Eyeshadow previously applied.
3. Apply Snakebite Eye Shadow to the outer half of the eyelid using the E55 Shading Brush, stop just before the crease line. Blend this color into the Tease Eyeshadows using the E25 Blending Brush.
4. With the E21 Smudge Brush, softly line the upper lash line with blackout eye shadow. Smudge it for a distressed look.
5. Line the waterline with Prestige Outrageous Emerald Eyeliner, Smudge the color into the lower lashes to create a smudged look.
6. Swipe the black eyeshadow from the E21 Smudge Brush (You can use wet wipes for this), and apply Half Baked Eyeshadow just below the eyeliner and green mixture.
7. Curl your eyelashes, apply mascara to both upper and lower lashes. Apply false eyelashes (if you want a dramatic look).
8. When the whip glue dries, go over the eye shadow line you created along the upper lash line with Maybelline Meister Precise Liquid Liner. Stay very close to the lash line. I also added a little flick to the outer corner – which is optional.
9. Finally, spray the E55 shading brushes with water or a binding agent such as MAC Fix + and dab it into the Half Baked Eyeshadow. This will intensify the color and luster of the shadow. This on the inner half of the eye, to kick the gold.
* The most important part of any eye's gaze is it, BLEND BLEND BLEND, so be patient and build up the colors little by little, until you reach the desired affect.
And here it is! You've got yourself a shimmering, festive look with the addition of jewel toned emerald.
