Although the Parador components, which you have ordered from the timber merchant, be delivered fully painted, they still have to be adjusted a little for installation under the sloping roof. This applies primarily to the shelf cleats, which should reach up to the ceiling. Here the upper end is cut off with a hand-held circular saw after the room height has been precisely measured. Cover the cut edge with a plastic edge band or a profile strip that is part of the system. With floor-to-ceiling shelves, three construction shelves are used to ensure a firm connection between the individual cleats.
At the right height you have to cut the upper end of the shelf with a circular saw. Cover the cut edge with lipping.
A tape measure is a good way to determine, How big is the distance between the sloping ceiling and the floor. Customize each stud individually.
As construction shelves are the top one, the bottom one and a shelf in the middle. All others rest on floor beams. With an adjustable bevel, the angle in front of the "dead" corner is precisely determined. Fix the vertical according to the spirit level.
The determined angle is marked with a pencil on the remainder of the tunnel. Cut off the cleat corner using the guide bar.
A look into the half-finished corner already reveals it, how well you can adjust the MachArt furniture system to the room situation.
Built-in furniture and wall panels as if made from one piece, this is also possible with the Parador product range. The photo gives a good impression of it, how generous such a furnishing solution can appear. The surface veneer is light beech.
The construction principle of this furniture construction system resembles a half-timbered structure. Attractive effect: the combination of lacquered and veneered elements.
