You don't necessarily have to have "pig"., to win a race on stilts. With an elephant or bear under their feet, children are guaranteed to have a lot of fun running!
To recreate these stilts with cute animal motifs, you need so little material, that you only have to reach into your leftovers box. Even if you buy the wood at the hardware store, costs the fun below 20 Euro, because for a pair of stilts you don't even need half a square meter of waterproof glued plywood and two squared timbers.
No matter, whether you like the elephant, recreate the pig or the bear, the workload is identical – and rather low. The photos show in ten steps in detail, how it is done.

8 Um die Passgenauigkeit zu prüfen sollten Sie einmal vormontieren.
9 Alle Holzteile werden zweimal vorlackiert. The intermediate sanding is done with 120 grit.
10 Zum Schluss wird der Endlack aufgetragen und mit wasserfesten Farbfilzstiften bekommen die Tiere Details wie Augen und Schnauzen aufgemalt.
