The richly decorated wreath on the front door is just as much a part of the Christmas season in many countries as the Advent wreath is in our country. A beautiful custom, which we gladly recommend for imitation.

Door wreaths are very popular with our neighbors in Scandinavia and also in the Anglo-Saxon countries as a sign of the Advent mood. In this country you can find this beautiful welcome greeting more and more often. We like him so much, that we have collected a few particularly beautiful models, which can be used as a suggestion for your door wreath. As the photos at the bottom of this page show, In principle, door wreaths are made in the same way as Advent wreaths. Just, that the candles are omitted and the wreaths can then be decorated all the richer. There are no limits to creative imagination, main thing, all decoration parts hold tight, because eventually the wreaths, hanging on the front door, moved a lot. Pay attention to this in the first step, that the wrapping of kitchen paper is voluminous. This is how the whole thing gets fullness. Branches of coniferous trees are suitable for greening, but of course foliage is also an option, for example the leaves of the holly (Ilex). Be sure to, that you cover the binding wire of the previous work step well when attaching the branches or leaves.

So the wreath comes on the door – The door wreath hanger can be clamped over the door, so that no drilling or nailing is required. The flexible metal, with hanging device on both sides, can be adapted to any door profile.
