Where planing takes place, chips fall. And where to build, so one could add, it quickly gets very dusty. This does not only apply during the construction phase, but also after moving in, when always hanging up pictures, Dowel shelves and hang up lamps. As a rule, drilling then has to be carried out - and who could remove the resulting dirt better than a test winner vacuum cleaner? The vacuum cleaner is certainly one of the most common electrical household appliances.

There are accordingly many variants: From the popular cylinder vacuum cleaner, which the user pulls behind him when sucking by means of the suction hose, about the hand-held vacuum cleaner that is almost as widespread, where you hold the entire device in your hand, up to special forms such as the workshop vacuum cleaner, in which the dirt does not - as with most other devices - end up in a bag, but is collected in a sturdy metal container. As a special feature, these vacuum cleaners can also vacuum liquids such as spilled water, which is why they are called wet / dry vacuum cleaners.

The “special” vacuum cleaners also include two designs, which should still receive special attention here. On the one hand, this is the frequent test winner vacuum cleaner after the "Dyson"(R)-principle. A paper bag is used with conventional vacuum cleaners, which picks up the sucked up dirt and has to be emptied, as soon as it is filled. This principle has two disadvantages: First, filter bags have to be bought constantly. Here is now with costs of approx. calculate two euros per bag. Second, the suction power drops considerably before the maximum filling is reached. This is avoided with vacuum cleaners with the bagless cyclone technology - here the dust falls into a separate collection container, which is outside the suction air flow.

However, these vacuums are quite expensive. Another special vacuum cleaner shape, which is particularly interesting for “home builders”, is the so-called central vacuum cleaner. Here is, mostly in the basement, the actual vacuum cleaner installed. Suction pipes then lead to the individual rooms, To which a suction hose with nozzle is connected by means of a plug connection. This variant is a blessing, especially for allergy sufferers, because the air in the room is not contaminated with the exhaust air from the vacuum cleaner.
